This project is a perfect example of thinking outside the box—literally! Instead of making yet another square planter, why not add some shape and character? This fluted planter box features gracefully curved sides, giving it a vase-like feel that stands out in any garden. Made from cedar fencing material, each row is cut at a unique angle to create the curved shape, and the rows are secured with a curved support on the inside.
A standard hanging basket pot fits perfectly in the top, making it incredibly versatile—just swap out plants for each season! This design demonstrates my approach: take something ordinary, add a twist, and make it your own. Things don’t have to be bland or common—make them unique.
